Job summary

Withum is seeking a Manager in Transaction Advisory Services focused on financial due diligence. The role involves leading multiple diligence work streams, coordinating engagements, and mentoring junior staff. You will work with clients and target management, contributing to insights that inform deal decisions in a hybrid office setting across multiple U.S.

locations. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in M&A, CPA certification or in progress, and strong Excel/PowerPoint proficiency, with deep US

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; CPA certification active or in progress.
5+ years of related M&A work experience within a large professional services organization; public accounting preferred.
High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
Excellent communication skills, both internal and external.
Knowledge of US GAAP and ability to translate data into insights.

Responsibilities

Manage multiple work streams and coordinate financial due diligence engagements.
Collaborate with client management on diligence focus areas and issue communications.
Discuss business performance and forecasting assumptions with senior team members.
Analyze target financial data for valuation, working capital, and cash flow considerations.
Prepare reports with findings and recommendations on financial and business issues.
Identify integration and post-transaction transition considerations.
Support ongoing development of M&A best practices.
