Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance with 5+ years of related M&A work experience; CPA certification or in process.
• Public accounting experience preferred.
• High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to translate data into insights.
• Willing and able to travel up to 40% on short notice.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple work streams simultaneously.
• Coordinate financial due diligence engagements.
• Collaborate with client management on focus areas and provide real-time issue communications.
• Discuss business performance and forecasting assumptions with senior management.
• Analyze target financial data for valuation, working capital, and future cash flow considerations.
• Prepare reports detailing findings and recommendations on key financial issues in a transaction.
• Identify integration, separation, and post-transaction transition issues.
• Contribute to ongoing M&A best practices and team development.
• Analyze financial and operational results of target businesses and interview management.
• Research industry trends and seasonality to inform cash flow needs.
• Utilize technology/tools to analyze data and present visuals.
