Withum is seeking a Manager in Transaction Advisory Services focusing on financial due diligence. You will lead multiple diligence engagements, collaborate with client management and engagement leadership, and mentor junior staff in a hybrid office setting in the United States.

The role requires a Bachelor's in accounting or finance, 5+ years in M&A, CPA, and strong Excel/PowerPoint. Travel up to 40% and experience in large professional services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance with 5+ years in M&A work; CPA preferred.
• Public accounting experience in a large firm.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into insights.
• Excellent communication skills internally and externally.
• Willingness to travel up to 40% on short notice.
• Knowledge of US GAAP.
• Desire to be a long-term contributor to a dynamic team.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple diligence work streams concurrently.
• Coordinate financial due diligence engagements with clients and target company teams.
• Collaborate with client management on focus areas and communicate issues clearly.
• Discuss business performance and forecasting assumptions with senior management.
• Analyze target financial data for earnings quality, working capital, and cash-flow drivers.
• Prepare reports outlining findings and recommendations.
• Identify integration, separation, and post-transaction issues.
• Support continuous improvement of M&A best practices.
