Job summary

Withum is seeking a Manager in Transaction Advisory Services focused on financial due diligence. You will lead multiple engagements, mentor juniors, and drive project management across the due diligence process.

The role involves working with client teams and engagement leadership to deliver high-quality analyses and actionable insights. The Manager will travel up to 40% and operate in a hybrid US office setting (3 days in office per week).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance with CPA preferred or in progress.
• 5+ years in M&A or financial due diligence in a professional services firm.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; proficient in GAAP analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple due diligence workstreams and coordinate engagements.
• Collaborate with client management to focus diligence areas and communicate findings.
• Discuss performance and forecasting assumptions with senior management.
• Analyze target financial data for earnings quality and cash flows.
• Prepare reports outlining findings and recommendations.
• Identify integration and post-transaction issues and advise on solutions.
• Support development of M&A best practices across the team.
• Review accounting records and interview management to understand drivers.
• Research industry trends and leverage data visualizations.
