Job summary

Withum is seeking a Manager in Transaction Advisory Services focused on financial due diligence. You will drive project management across the due diligence process, work with clients and target management, and mentor junior staff.

The role is hybrid, with 3 days in office per week, and involves collaborating across TAS to deliver high‑quality insights. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, CPA or pursuing CPA, and 5+ years of related M&A experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required.
• Active CPA certification or in progress is preferred.
• Experience in a large professional services organization is desirable.
• High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint required.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple work streams and coordinate financial due diligence engagements.
• Collaborate with client management on focus areas and communicate findings.
• Discuss business performance and forecasting with senior team management.
• Identify target financial data analyses for Earning quality, working capital, and cash flows.
• Prepare reports outlining findings and recommendations on key financial issues in a transaction.
• Support integration, separation and post-transaction transition issues.
• Contribute to development of M&A best practices and knowledge sharing.
• Analyze financial and operational results of acquisition targets and interview management.
