Job summary

Withum is seeking a Manager in Transaction Advisory Services specializing in financial due diligence. You will lead multiple diligence streams, coordinate engagements with client management, and mentor junior staff in a hybrid office setting.

The role requires a Bachelor's in accounting or finance, 5+ years of M&A experience, CPA (or in progress), strong Excel/PowerPoint, US GAAP knowledge, and willingness to travel up to 40%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance with 5+ years in M&A.
• Active CPA or in the process of obtaining one.
• Public accounting experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Willing to travel up to 40% on short notice.
• Experience in mergers or acquisitions transactions.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple work streams across due diligence projects.
• Coordinate financial due diligence engagements.
• Collaborate with client management on focus areas and issue communications.
• Discuss business performance and forecasting with senior management.
• Analyze target financial data to assess earnings and cash flow implications.
• Prepare reports outlining findings and recommendations.
• Identify integration, separation and post-transaction issues.
• Contribute to development of M&A best practices.
• Review accounting records to understand drivers of the business.
• Research industry trends to inform cash flow insights.
• Utilize technology/tools to analyze data and present visuals.
