Job summary

Withum is seeking a Manager in Transaction Advisory Services focused on financial due diligence. You will drive project management across the DAS process, work directly with clients and target management, mentor junior staff, and contribute to the growth of the TAS practice.

The role offers hybrid work across multiple US offices with up to 40% travel. A Bachelor's in accounting or finance and 5+ years M&A experience are required, along with CPA (or in progress) and strong Excel/PowerPoint

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; 5+ years M&A work experience; CPA in progress or active CPA preferred
• Experience in large professional services organization; public accounting experience preferred
• High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; strong communication and analytical skills
• Working knowledge of US GAAP; willingness to travel up to 40%
• Travel up to 40% on short notice; M&A experience in transactions role preferred

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple work streams in financial due diligence engagements
• Coordinate due diligence engagements and client communications
• Collaborate with client management on focus areas and issue escalation
• Analyze target financial data: earnings quality, working capital, cash flows
• Prepare reports outlining findings and recommendations for deals
• Identify post-transaction integration and transition considerations
• Support development of M&A best practices and methodologies
• Analyze financial and operational data from targeted companies
