Job summary

Harris Computer is seeking a Corporate Development Associate to build the M&A pipeline and engage founders and executives across North America. You will own outreach, develop strategic relationships, and drive initiatives that position Harris as the preferred acquirer.

In this autonomous role, you will manage your own workflow, leverage an internal CRM, and contribute to shaping a scalable M&A process. A 2–5 year M&A background is preferred and a proactive, results-driven mindset is required.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in M&A preferred.
• Self-starter with initiative and targets.
• Strong communication with founders and executives.
• Ability to operate autonomously and manage outreach.

Responsibilities

• Develop the M&A pipeline by sourcing software companies aligned with investment goals.
• Lead outbound prospecting and build rapport with business owners and senior leaders.
• Nurture long-term relationships with decision-makers to position Harris as acquirer of choice.
• Innovate outreach processes and use CRM data to guide decisions.
• Collaborate with the M&A team to track activities and outcomes.
