Harris Computer is seeking a Corporate Development Associate to build and manage our M&A pipeline across North America. You will identify software targets, reach out to founders and executives, and position Harris as a preferred acquirer with autonomy to shape outreach strategies.

The role emphasizes proactive relationship building, initiative, and data-driven decision making, with clear targets and the opportunity to contribute to a high-impact M&A program at Harris Computer.

Qualifications

• Proactive & goal‑oriented, self‑motivated and able to work autonomously to hit targets.
• Exceptional relationship builder with ability to engage with C‑suite executives and founders.
• Entrepreneurial drive, responsive self‑starter, and persistence to see complex projects through.
• Executive presence and maturity to credibly engage with senior leaders and represent Harris professionally.
• Solid business operations understanding; 2–5 years of M&A experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop the M&A pipeline by proactively identifying software companies that align with Harris' investment goals.
• Initiate outbound prospecting and build relationships with business owners and senior leadership.
• Be a trusted partner, nurturing long‑term relationships with key decision‑makers.
• Innovate our outreach process with autonomous methods and visible contributions.
• Leverage the M&A CRM to manage the pipeline and track activities for data‑driven decisions.
