Job summary

Harris Computer seeks an experienced Senior Corporate Development Associate to build a robust pipeline of vertical‑market software investments. You will identify opportunities, build trusted relationships with founders and executives, and collaborate with the M&A team through evaluation, offers, and closing.

You will report to the Portfolio Leader and operate in the United States or Canada, with travel to meet targets alongside senior leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in corporate development, private equity, investment banking, or related field.
• Proven success sourcing and advancing acquisition opportunities.
• Experience engaging with founders, owners, and senior executives.
• Understanding of vertical‑market software or ability to learn software markets.
• Clear point of view on applying AI to research, sourcing, prioritization, and workflow.
• Willingness to travel within the United States and Canada.
• Salary range awareness: $100,000–$120,000 USD per year plus commission.

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify vertical‑market software opportunities and build a strong pipeline.
• Develop trusted relationships with founders, owners, and senior executives.
• Work with leadership and M&A execution team to move opportunities through evaluation, offers, and closing.
• Collaborate with colleagues to strengthen sourcing, prioritization, and investment judgment.
