Johnny Was, LLC is seeking a Stylist for our California Dreaming boutique. You will deliver a highly personalized, elevated client experience while driving store sales and brand standards. The role blends styling expertise, relationship-building, and performance excellence to achieve goals.

As a brand ambassador, you will support leadership, merchandise presentation, and store operations, creating an inspiring in-store environment that reflects Johnny Was aesthetics and values.

Qualifications

• 2-3+ years of luxury, contemporary, or premium retail sales experience.
• Proven track record of achieving sales goals and performance metrics.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a client-first mindset.
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an elevated, personalized experience reflecting the Johnny Was lifestyle.
• Build authentic, long-term client relationships through proactive clienteling.
• Maintain and grow an active client book with follow-up and appointment selling.
• Demonstrate deep product knowledge including fabrication, fit, and seasonal storytelling.
• Anticipate client needs and resolve concerns with professionalism and urgency.
• Support store events, trunk shows, and community activations to drive traffic.
• Ensure an elevated client experience through ongoing engagement and communication.
