Job summary

TUMI is seeking an Associate Manager in retail to create a client experience aligned with our brand ethos, build strong client relationships, and drive sales through outstanding service. The role emphasizes leadership, training, and a proactive approach in a luxury market.

The incumbent will contribute to growth by delivering world-class service, training staff, and maintaining visual standards while meeting KPIs and sales targets.

Qualifications

• Understand the TUMI brand and have true passion for the lifestyle, clients, and product assortment.
• Value a collaborative environment and openness to feedback.
• Retail team roles require standing, moving, lifting up to 30 pounds, and occasional ladder use.
• Have strong sales and client experience, preferably in the luxury market.
• Proven success in meeting sales goals and achieving KPIs.
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends, mornings, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Meet and exceed individual and store baseline goals for personal sales and KPI metrics.
• Display initiative, plan and prioritize, and champion change.
• Train and develop store associates through roleplay and coaching.
• Provide coaching and feedback, articulating strengths and opportunities.
• Communicate effectively; build relationships with teammates and customers.
• Ensure payroll accuracy and maintain training records; comply with company policies.
• Ensure visual guidelines are followed to deliver a superior client experience.
