Job summary

TUMI in Houston seeks an Associate Manager for our retail team to create a client experience that reflects the brand ethos, build lasting client relationships, and drive sales through outstanding service.

The ideal candidate has a passion for luxury, delivers world-class service, and helps grow the brand. You will mentor staff, uphold visual standards, and contribute to a high-energy store environment that rewards initiative and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Understand the TUMI brand and have true passion for the lifestyle, clients, and product assortment.
• Value a collaborative environment and have an openness to feedback.
• The retail team stands, moves around the store, lifts, pushes boxes that weigh 30 pounds, and uses a ladder to complete job duties.
• Have strong sales and client experience, preferably in the luxury market.
• Can demonstrate proven success in meeting sales goals and achieving KPI’s.
• Flexible availability to work nights, weekends, mornings, and holidays as needed.
• Have a strong sense of integrity and an ability to lead by example.
• Have strong time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Meet and exceed individual store sales and KPI metrics inclusive of conversion, DPT, UPT and Client Data Capture.
• Display initiative, plan and prioritize, think strategically, and champion change.
• Train and develop store associates; provide coaching and feedback; support quarterly goal setting.
• Communicate clearly; adapt to different audiences; maintain ethical conduct and promote store goals.
• Manage timecards to ensure payroll accuracy and uphold training standards.
• Maintain visual merchandising guidelines and deliver a consistently superior client experience.
