Job summary

Johnny Was is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in California to support the Store Manager in building a high-performing team and delivering elevated client experiences. You will coach a diverse sales staff, drive brand standards, and leverage store data to inform strategy while ensuring exceptional service at every touchpoint.

The role requires at least 2+ years in luxury retail management, strong leadership, and a deep understanding of luxury fashion and merchandising.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of sales management experience in luxury retail or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in a similar field is preferred but not required.
• Ability to analyze selling reports and identify business trends.

Responsibilities

• Coach, develop, and motivate the sales team to meet performance goals.
• Lead the sales team on the floor to increase profitability.
• Ensure customer and employee experience are prioritized over workload or tasking.
• Recruit high-level candidates and maintain a store team able to meet service and sales goals.
