Job summary

Johnny Was, LLC is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for its New York brand presence to support the Store Manager in building a high-performing sales team and delivering elevated client experiences.

You will coach a diverse sales team, act as a brand ambassador, drive topline results, and leverage store data to inform strategy and performance. Experience in luxury retail and client-centric leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years of sales management experience in luxury retail.
• Bachelor’s degree in a similar field is preferred but not required.
• Ability to analyze selling reports and react quickly to the needs of the business.

Responsibilities

• Coach, develop, and motivate the sales team to meet performance goals.
• Lead the sales floor through hands-on selling and superior customer service.
• Assist Store Manager in staffing and developing a high-performing team.
• Act as a brand ambassador to drive brand loyalty in the local market.
