Job summary

The RealReal is seeking a Customer Experience Associate in Los Angeles, CA. You will be the first point of contact for clients, educating them about our mission and services, and delivering a warm, personalized experience.

This seasonal role ends January 4, 2027. You will greet clients, support returns and consignments, assist shoppers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain brand standards while handling luxury items.

Qualifications

• 1-2+ years of work experience, luxury preferred.
• Strong people orientation with entrepreneurial spirit.
• Self-motivated and competitive.
• Ability to master multiple technical devices and systems.
• Ability to communicate clearly, listen thoroughly and respond quickly with accuracy.
• Possesses a strong attention to detail and excellent follow up skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and direct them to the right area for swift resolution.
• Support client services such as in-store returns and consignment drop offs.
• Assist customers by listening, connecting, and making recommendations.
• Demonstrate active listening to identify and resolve client issues.
• Support operational functions as needed, such as customer transfers.
• Maintain a can-do attitude and handle multiple, time-sensitive situations.
• Work with cross-functional teams as a team player.
• Handle luxury items with care, including jewelry, watches, home and art, consignor pieces.
• Maintain brand standards in personal appearance and communication.
• Ask questions, seek understanding, and apply feedback quickly.
