Job summary

Estes Express Lines is seeking a Dock Supervisor to lead the operations at the Toledo Service Center. You will direct dock employees, manage scheduling, and ensure safe, compliant and efficient LTL operations.

You will engage in hiring and coaching activities, monitor KPIs, and communicate with customers. A strong leadership presence and ability to work across teams are essential in this on-site role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor degree preferred.
• Proven leadership experience in a dock/operations environment.
• Experience in hiring, coaching, counseling and terminating employees.

Responsibilities

• Lead dock employees and set performance targets.
• Manage dock operations, scheduling and cost control.
• Ensure safety, policy compliance and proper paperwork handling.
• Coordinate with management on hiring/termination decisions.
• Communicate with customers via phone/email and ensure timely information flow.
• Maintain attendance and reliability, and meet KPI targets.
• Oversee equipment movement and dock staffing in collaboration with supervisors.
