Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Thorough understanding of the LTL trucking industry a plus.
• Prior management, dispatch and dock experience in LTL trucking preferred.
• Strong leadership and ability to hire, coach, train and mentor employees.
• Excellent verbal, written and listening communication skills.
• Team building and interpersonal skills.
• Must be willing to work 50 hours/week and varied shifts.
• Able to lift approximately 20 lbs. and comply with safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Lead, guide and direct dock employees; set targets and monitor performance.
• Enforce company safety rules and policies; ensure compliance with regulations.
• Participate in hiring and termination processes as needed.
• Administer portions of the Service Center Business plan per manager guidance.
• Meet KPI targets and utilize company tools to improve efficiency and cost.
