Qualifications

• Thorough understanding of the LTL trucking industry; basic paperwork flow preferred.
• Prior management, dispatch and dock experience required, preferably in LTL trucking.
• Must be knowledgeable of local metropolitan area.

Responsibilities

• Lead dock employees; set targets, monitor performance, coach and develop staff.
• Manage dock scheduling and equipment movement in collaboration with other supervisors/management.
• Ensure safety, policy compliance and accurate paperwork for the dock operations.
• Meet KPI targets and communicate with customers by phone, fax or email.
• Possibly perform additional duties as required by operations.
