Job summary

Estes Express is seeking a Supervisory/Manager level candidate to lead dock operations for an LTL network in the Montgomery County area. You will set performance targets, guide drivers and dock staff, and ensure adherence to safety rules while coordinating with service centers and customers.

The role demands strong planning, coaching and time management within a high-volume environment. The position requires prior management and dispatch experience in LTL trucking, plus the ability to work

Qualifications

• Experience in management, dispatch and dock operations in LTL trucking.
• Strong leadership and coaching abilities.
• Knowledge of local metropolitan area.
• Able to work nights, weekends, and 50 hours/week.
• Must pass background/drug tests and be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct dock employees; set targets and monitor performance.
• Manage LTL operation including dock planning and schedules.
• Ensure safety compliance and company policies.
• Hire, train, coach, mentor and terminate as needed.
• Communicate with customers by phone, fax or email.
• Review and revise schedules to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Oversee paperwork and ensure timely processing.
