Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED; bachelor preferred.
• Thorough understanding of LTL trucking and paperwork flow.
• Prior management, dispatch and dock experience in LTL trucking.
• Strong leadership to hire, coach, train, mentor and terminate.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; planning skills.
• Willing to work 50 hours/week including nights/weekends.
• Able to lift at least 20 lbs and work in various weather conditions.

Aufgaben

• Lead, guide and direct dock employees; set targets and monitor performance.
• Ensure efficient, clean and safe LTL operation with dock planning.
• Enforce company policies, safety rules and government regulations.
• Involved in hiring and termination processes.
• Administer portions of the Service Center Business plan as set forth by the Service Center Manager.
• Responsible for meeting all KPIs and using enhancement tools/processes.
• Review and revise schedules to increase efficiency and lower cost.
• Coordinate equipment movement with other supervisors/management.
• Communicate with customers via phone, fax or email.
• Maintain all dock paperwork and attendance records.
