Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Thorough understanding of the LTL trucking industry recommended.
• Prior management, dispatch and dock experience required, preferably in LTL trucking.

Responsibilities

• Lead dock employees, set targets and monitor performance.
• Manage efficient LTL operation including dock planning and scheduling.
• Enforce company policies, safety rules and government regulations.
• Involved in hiring and termination processes.
• Administer portions of the Service Center Business plan.
• Meet KPIs and ensure timely, accurate paperwork.
• Coordinate communication with customers by phone, fax or email.
• Oversee equipment movement (trailers/tractors) and dock assignments.
• Maintain regular attendance and be able to work all shifts, including nights/weekends.
• Perform other duties as required by operations.
