Job summary

Estes Express Lines is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead dock staff, set targets, monitor performance, coach and develop employees, and ensure a safe, efficient LTL operation.

You will manage schedules, oversee paperwork and communications with customers, participate in hiring decisions, maintain KPI targets, and coordinate with management to optimize cost and service levels. Expect about 50 hours per week, with shifts including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience in LTL trucking or dock management.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work 50 hours/week, nights and/or weekends as needed.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Lead, guide and direct dock employees; set targets and monitor performance.
• Enforce safety rules and company policies; ensure efficient, clean operation.
• Oversee scheduling, dock planning and paperwork flow.
• Communicate with customers via phone, fax or email; ensure timely documentation.
