Job summary

Estes-Express-Lines is seeking a Dock Supervisor to lead and direct dock employees, establish targets, and monitor performance within our LTL network. You will enforce policies and safety standards while coordinating schedules to optimize efficiency and cost.

The role requires prior management and dock experience, strong leadership, and the ability to work 50 hours per week including nights and weekends. Candidates should be familiar with AS/400 and MS Office tools.

Qualifications

• Prior management, dispatch and dock experience required, preferably in LTL trucking industry.
• Thorough understanding of the LTL trucking industry, including basic paperwork flow preferred.
• Must be able to work 50 hours/week average; shifts including nights/weekends and various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Lead, guide and direct dock employees; set targets and monitor performance.
• Enforce company policies; ensure safety compliance and government regulations.
• Hire, coach, counsel, train, mentor and terminate employees as needed.
• Administer portions of the Service Center Business plan set by the Service Center Manager.
• Coordinate dock planning and schedules to optimize efficiency and cost.
