Job summary

Estes-Express-Lines is seeking a Dock Supervisor to lead and direct dock teams, ensuring a safe, efficient LTL operation and timely completion of paperwork. You will set targets, monitor performance, coach staff, and align with the Service Center business plan.

The role requires strong leadership, solid experience in dock/dispatch, and the ability to work 50 hours per week, including nights and weekends. Local knowledge and excellent communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have management, dispatch and dock experience in LTL trucking.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to hire, coach, and terminate employees.
• Able to work 50 hours per week, including nights/weekends.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Direct dock employees and set performance targets.
• Monitor performance and provide coaching and development.
• Enforce safety policies and regulatory compliance.
• Manage schedules and dock planning to optimize efficiency.
• Communicate with customers via phone, fax or email.
• Oversee all dock paperwork and recordkeeping.
