Job summary

Estes Express Lines in Tucson, AZ is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead drivers and staff, set targets, monitor performance, coach and develop the team, and manage an efficient, safe LTL operation including dock planning and schedules.

You will enforce company policies and safety rules, participate in hiring and termination decisions, administer parts of the Service Center Business plan, and drive KPI achievement while coordinating with customers and handling paperwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor degree preferred.
• Thorough understanding of LTL trucking operations and paperwork flow.
• Prior management, dispatch and dock experience in LTL trucking.
• Strong leadership, hiring, coaching and mentoring abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead drivers and staff; set targets and monitor performance.
• Manage efficient, safe LTL operations including dock planning and schedules.
• Enforce safety rules, company policies and procedures; participate in hiring decisions.
• Administer portions of the Service Center Business plan; meet KPI targets.
• Review and adjust driver schedules to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Coordinate customer communications and ensure timely paperwork.
