Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor degree preferred.
• Thorough understanding of the LTL trucking industry.
• Prior management, dispatch and dock experience in LTL trucking.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct dock employees and set performance targets.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety rules.
• Participate in hiring and termination decisions.
• Administer Service Center business plan components and KPI achievement.
• Coordinate dock scheduling and equipment movement in collaboration with others.
• Communicate with customers by phone, fax or email.
• Maintain timely and accurate paperwork for the dock.
