Job summary

Estes Express Lines seeks an Assistant Service Center Manager to oversee a multi-shift LTL operation and a workforce of up to 450 employees. You will report to the Service Center Manager and drive safety, efficiency and customer service in a fast-paced dock environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of management experience in the LTL industry preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage KPI performance and safety compliance.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Direct Service Center staff and set goals, monitor performance, and develop talent.
• Hire, train, coach, counsel, and terminate staff per guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with safety rules and company policies.
• Develop and carry out the Service Center Business plan.
• Address customer and employee relations issues and drive resolutions.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and meet KPIs.
