Axsome Therapeutics, Inc. is seeking a field-based Long-Term Care (LTC) Specialty Account Manager to drive LTC commercial activities in an assigned geography, executing marketing strategies to ensure a successful launch and meaningful patient impact.

The SAM will be a disease-state expert and account specialist, building relationships with LTC care teams, navigating payer policies, and delivering territory plans to achieve quarterly and annual goals while collaborating with cross-functional

Qualifications

• 5+ years of pharmaceutical/biotech sales experience; 2+ years in LTC or account-based selling environments.
• Launch experience strongly preferred.
• Must live within the geography of the assigned territory.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve business goals.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently under accelerated timelines.

Responsibilities

• Drive product adoption in LTC facilities.
• Proficient in both virtual and live customer engagements.
• Call on LTC care teams and build relationships across psychiatrists, neurologists, NPs, PAs, nurses, and LTC staff.
• Develop territory business plans and account plans for LTC facilities to meet goals.
• Navigate payer policies, prior authorizations, and patient access programs.
• Maximize use of marketing resources to grow prescriber confidence in Axsome therapies.
• Attend medical congresses and society meetings as needed.
