Job summary

Axsome Therapeutics is seeking a field-based Long-Term Care (LTC) Specialty Account Manager in Louisville, KY to drive LTC commercial activities and execute marketing strategies for a successful product launch.

The SAM will build durable relationships with LTC care teams, navigate payer policies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve quarterly and annual goals while delivering patient access programs and value demonstration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; pharma/biotech experience preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of pharmaceutical/biotech sales experience, including 2+ years in LTC or account-based selling environments.
• Launch experience strongly preferred.
• Must live within the geography of the assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Drive LTC product adoption in assigned facilities.
• Engage with LTC care teams through virtual and live interactions.
• Build relationships across LTC ecosystem including psychiatrists and nurses.
• Develop territory business plans and account plans to meet goals.
• Promote products ethically per labeling and regulatory guidelines.
• Manage payer policies, prior authorization, and patient access programs.
