Job summary

Axsome Therapeutics is seeking a field-based Long-Term Care (LTC) Specialty Account Manager to drive LTC commercial activities in an assigned geography, executing marketing strategies for a successful product launch. The SAM will be a disease-state expert, product champion, and account specialist with strong cross-functional collaboration and presentation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• 5+ years of pharmaceutical/biotech sales experience, including 2+ years in LTC or account-based selling environments.
• Top 10% or Elite/President’s Club performance.
• Launch experience strongly preferred.
• Must live within the geography of the assigned territory.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to thrive with ambiguity and high-expectation environments.

Responsibilities

• Drive product adoption in LTC facilities.
• Proficient in both virtual and live customer engagements.
• Call on LTC care teams and build relationships across the LTC ecosystem.
• Develop territory business plans with account plans for targeted LTC facilities.
