Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics in Frederick, MD is seeking a healthcare sales professional to drive a long-term care territory. You will build relationships with prescribers, pharmacists, and facility leaders to identify and start eligible patients on therapy.

You will deliver clinical and reimbursement education, develop quarterly plans, and guide pricing discussions. Collaboration with internal teams and mentorship of junior staff are essential, with travel required up to 80%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or related field.
• Sales experience in healthcare/pharma; 3 years for Specialist, 8+ years for Senior, 12+ years for Executive.
• Willingness to travel up to 80% and reside within territory.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with LTC physicians, NP/PA, consultant/dispensing pharmacists, and nursing facility leadership.
• Deliver compliant clinical, disease-state, and reimbursement education; address questions/objections with advanced selling.
• Use customer/market insights to create and execute quarterly territory plans.
• Provide guidance on pricing and reimbursement; liaise on access‑related questions.
• Collaborate with internal teams; represent Acadia at conferences and training.
• Mentor junior sales specialists; maintain compliance with regulations and LTC policies.
