Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics is seeking an experienced healthcare sales professional for a long-term care territory. You will build relationships with prescribers, pharmacists, and facility leadership, promoting products with clinical and reimbursement education.

The role requires strong selling skills, regulatory compliance, and ability to travel up to 80%. You will mentor junior staff and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive patient access and therapy adoption.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences is required or preferred.
• 3+ years of sales in healthcare/pharma; neuroscience is preferred for Sales Specialist.
• 8+ years healthcare sales for Sr. Sales Specialist; 2+ years complex/account-based selling.
• 12+ years healthcare sales for Executive Sales Specialist; 3+ years complex/account-based selling.
• Strong leadership, mentorship, business acumen, organization and self-motivation.
• Residence within territory (±30 miles) and travel up to 80% with valid license.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with LTC team members (physicians, NP/PA, pharmacists, nursing leadership).
• Promote products with compliant clinical, disease-state, and reimbursement education.
• Handle questions/objections using advanced selling skills.
• Use insights to drive business planning and quarterly territory plans.
• Provide pricing/reimbursement guidance and liaise on access questions.
• Collaborate with sales management and cross-functional partners.
• Represent the company at conferences, launches, and trainings; mentor junior staff.
• Maintain regulatory and company policy compliance.
