Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics is seeking a highly skilled field-based Sales Specialist to drive growth in the long-term care segment. You will build relationships with prescribers, pharmacists, and facility leadership to identify and maintain patients on therapy.

Responsibilities include delivering compliant clinical education, handling objections, and shaping territory plans with cross-functional teams. Travel up to 80% and mentorship of junior staff are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of sales experience in healthcare; neuroscience background preferred.
• Executive-level: 12+ years of healthcare sales with complex accounts.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with physicians, NP/PA, pharmacists, and LTC leadership.
• Promote products with compliant clinical, disease state, and reimbursement education.
• Handle customer questions/objections using advanced selling skills.
• Use market insights for business planning and quarterly territory plans.
• Advise on pricing, reimbursement, and LTC profitability; address access questions.
• Collaborate with sales management and cross-functional partners.
• Represent the company at conferences, launches, and training events.
• Mentor and train junior Sales Specialists.
• Maintain compliance with regulations and LTC requirements.
