Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics is seeking a field-based Sales professional to drive long-term care product adoption across an assigned territory. You will build relationships with physicians, pharmacists, and LTC decision-makers to ensure appropriate patients are identified, started, and maintained on therapy.

This role requires advanced selling, reimbursement knowledge, and the ability to create business plans, deliver compliant education, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (life sciences preferred).
• Sales Specialist: 3 years sales (≥1 year pharma/related healthcare; neuroscience preferred).
• Sr. Specialist: 8 years healthcare sales; ≥2 years complex/account-based selling.
• Executive: 12 years healthcare sales; ≥3 years complex/account-based selling.
• Strong negotiation/selling, leadership/mentorship, business acumen.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with LTC resident care team members (physicians/NPs/PAs, consultant and dispensing pharmacists, and nursing facility leadership/staff).
• Deliver compliant clinical, disease state, and reimbursement education to promote products.
• Use advanced selling skills to address customer questions, concerns, and objections.
• Use customer/practice/market insights to develop business plans; create and execute quarterly territory action plans.
• Provide guidance on pricing, reimbursement, and LTC profitability parameters; act as liaison for access-related questions.
• Collaborate with sales management and cross-functional partners.
• Represent the company at conferences, launches, and training; mentor junior sales specialists.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and LTC regulations.
