Job summary

Axsome Therapeutics, Inc. is seeking a field-based Long-Term Care (LTC) Specialty Account Manager to execute commercial strategies and drive product adoption in LTC facilities across the assigned geography.

You will act as a disease-state expert, account specialist, and liaison to clinical teams, payers, and patient access programs. The role requires 5+ years of pharma/biotech sales with LTC exposure, top performance history, and a willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of 5 years of pharmaceutical/biotech sales experience, incl. 2+ years in LTC or account-based selling.
• Launch experience strongly preferred.
• Must live within the geography of the assigned territory.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and multi-tasking in fast-paced settings.

Responsibilities

• Drive LTC product adoption and market share growth in assigned geography.
• Engage LTC care teams through virtual and live meetings and education.
• Build relationships with psychiatrists, neurologists, nurses, and care coordinators.
• Develop territory business plans and quarterly/annual targets with leadership.
• Navigate payer policies, prior authorizations and patient access programs.
