Job summary

Axsome Therapeutics, Inc. is seeking a field-based Long-Term Care (LTC) Specialty Account Manager to drive LTC commercial activities across a defined geography.

You will act as a disease-state expert, product champion, and account manager, assessing stakeholders and market trends to optimize product adoption and access. The role requires 5+ years of pharma/biotech sales, including LTC exposure, and a proven top-performance track record.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of 5 years of pharmaceutical/biotech sales experience, including 2+ years in LTC or account-based selling.
• Launch experience strongly preferred.
• Must live within the geography of the assigned territory.
• Strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive LTC facility product adoption and engagement.
• Build relationships with LTC care teams including psychiatrists, neurologists, and nurses.
• Develop territory business plans and achieve quarterly/annual goals.
• Navigate payer policies and patient access programs.
• Collaborate across corporate functions and attend medical congresses.
• Manage promotional budget and reporting.
