Job summary

Axsome Therapeutics, Inc. is seeking a field-based Long-Term Care (LTC) Specialty Account Manager to drive LTC commercial activities in a defined geography.

You will act as a disease-state expert, account champion, and liaison for LTC facilities, coordinating with psychiatrists, neurologists, nurses and pharmacists to optimize patient access and product adoption. The role requires 5+ years in pharma/biotech sales (2+ in LTC), a proven top-tier performance record, and strong cross-functional

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with a track record in pharmaceutical/biotech sales.
• Minimum 5 years of pharma/biotech sales experience, including 2+ years in LTC or account selling.
• Launch experience strongly preferred and top performance history.

Responsibilities

• Drive LTC product adoption and call on LTC care teams with strong relationship building.
• Develop territory business plans and achieve quarterly/annual goals.
• Navigate payer policies, benefits verification, prior authorization, and patient access programs.
• Collaborate across cross-functional teams and manage promotional budgets faithfully.
• Attend congresses/meetings and ensure timely patient access and program utilization.
