Axsome Therapeutics is seeking a field-based Long-Term Care (LTC) Specialty Account Manager to drive LTC commercial activities across an assigned geography. You will act as a disease-state expert and account specialist, building relationships with psychiatrists, neurologists, and LTC teams to promote Axsome therapies.

The role requires 5+ years in pharma/biotech sales (2+ in LTC), launch experience, and a track record of top performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of 5 years of pharmaceutical/biotech sales experience, including 2+ years in LTC or account-based selling environments.
• Launch experience strongly preferred.
• Must live within the geography of the assigned territory.
• Experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams to achieve business goals.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks under accelerated timelines in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Drive product adoption in LTC facilities.
• Proficient in both virtual and live customer engagements.
• Call on LTC care teams and build relationships across the LTC ecosystem.
• Develop territory business plans with account plans for LTC facilities.
• Navigate payer policies, eligibility, prior authorization, and appeals/denials.
• Collaborate across corporate functions and manage promotional budget.
