Job summary

Axsome Therapeutics, Inc. is seeking a field-based Long-Term Care (LTC) Specialty Account Manager to drive LTC commercial activities across an assigned geography by executing marketing strategies to ensure a successful launch and establish deep disease-state expertise.

You will develop comprehensive territory plans, build relationships with psychiatrists, neurologists, nurses and care coordinators, and navigate payer policies and access programs to maximize patient access and prescribing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum 5 years pharma/biotech sales experience with 2+ years LTC/account-based selling.
• Launch experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive LTC product adoption and exceed quarterly/annual goals.
• Engage LTC care teams via virtual and live meetings and build relationships.
• Develop territory plans and manage promotional budget with leadership input.
• Navigate payer policies, eligibility, prior authorizations, and patient access programs.
• Provide territory feedback to marketing and management; travel as required.
