Job summary

Axsome Therapeutics, Inc. is seeking a field-based Long-Term Care Specialty Account Manager to drive LTC commercial activities in an assigned geography.

You will execute marketing strategies, become a disease-state expert, and manage accounts with a focus on patient access, payer processes, and robust territory planning. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in pharma/biotech sales (2+ years in LTC), strong interpersonal and presentation skills, and launch experience is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• 5+ years of pharmaceutical/biotech sales experience, including 2+ years in LTC or account-based selling.
• Launch experience strongly preferred.
• Must live within the geography of the assigned territory.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks under tight timelines.
• Strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive LTC facility product adoption.
• Call on LTC care teams and build relationships.
• Develop territory business plans and achieve goals.
• Navigate payer policies and patient access programs.
• Attend medical congresses and society meetings.
• Ensure timely access for patients through savings programs.
• Overnight travel as indicated.
