Job summary

Axsome Therapeutics is seeking a field-based Long-Term Care Specialty Account Manager to lead LTC commercial activities across an assigned geography, driving adoption and a successful product launch.

The role requires disease state expertise, account management skills, and a proven track record of top performance with launch experience preferred. Willingness to travel and collaborate with cross-functional teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• 5+ years of pharmaceutical/biotech sales experience, including 2+ years in LTC or account-based selling environments.
• Top 10% or Elite/President's Club performance.
• Launch experience strongly preferred.
• Must live within the geography of the assigned territory.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and managing multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
• Strong digital marketing aptitude and excellent interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive product adoption in LTC facilities.
• Engage effectively in virtual and live customer engagements.
• Call on LTC care teams and build relationships across the LTC ecosystem.
• Develop territory business plans and account plans to meet quarterly/annual goals.
• Navigate payer policies, prior authorizations, and reimbursement processes.
• Collaborate across corporate functions and provide feedback to leadership.
