Job summary

Axsome Therapeutics is seeking a field-based Long-Term Care Specialty Account Manager to drive LTC commercial activities across the assigned geography. You will act as a disease-state expert, product champion, and account specialist, delivering strategic sales execution and building relationships with psychiatrists, neurologists, and LTC teams.

The role requires 5+ years pharma/biotech sales, LTC experience, and a proven track record.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• 5+ years of pharmaceutical/biotech sales experience, including 2+ years in LTC or account-based selling environments.
• Launch experience strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated top-tier performance (Top 10% or Elite/President's Club).
• Strong digital marketing aptitude and ability to drive payer strategies.

Responsibilities

• Drive product adoption in LTC facilities.
• Proficient in both virtual and live customer engagements.
• Develop territory business plans and account plans for LTC facilities.
• Promote products ethically within approved labeling and guidelines.
• Navigate payer policies, prior authorizations, and patient access programs.
• Build strong customer relationships with LTC care teams and stakeholders.
• Travel overnight as needed and manage promotional budget.
