Job summary

Axsome Therapeutics, Inc. is seeking a field-based Long-Term Care (LTC) Specialty Account Manager to drive LTC commercial activities across an assigned geography.

You will execute marketing strategies to ensure a successful launch, become a disease-state expert, and build strong relationships with LTC care teams. The role requires 5+ years in pharma/biotech sales, including 2+ years in LTC or account-based selling, with strong presentation and digital marketing skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of 5 years of pharmaceutical/biotech sales experience, including 2+ years in LTC or account-based selling environments.
• Top 10% or Elite/President’s Club performance.
• Launch experience strongly preferred.
• Must live within the geography of the assigned territory.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, utilizing differential resources to achieve business goals.
• Ability to thrive with ambiguity and high-expectation environments.

Responsibilities

• Drive product adoption in LTC facilities.
• Proficient in both virtual and live customer engagements.
• Develop a comprehensive territory business plan inclusive of account plans for targeted LTC facilities.
• Promote within approved labeling in a compliant and ethical manner.
• Navigate market access and reimbursement; understand payer policies and patient access programs.
• Attend medical congresses and society meetings as needed.
• Manage efforts within assigned promotional budget and collaborate across functions.
