Job summary
Axsome Therapeutics, Inc. is seeking a field-based Long-Term Care Specialty Account Manager to drive LTC commercial activities across an assigned geography, executing strategies to support a successful launch and meaningful patient impact.
The SAM will become a disease-state expert and account specialist, building relationships with psychiatrists, neurologists, care teams and payers while delivering territory plans, managing budgets, and collaborating across functions to achieve market goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
- Minimum of 5 years of pharmaceutical/biotech sales experience, including 2+ years in LTC or account-based selling environments.
- Launch experience strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Drive product adoption in LTC facilities.
- Proficient in both virtual and live customer engagements.
- Develop comprehensive territory business plans with account plans for LTC facilities to meet quarterly and annual goals.
- Navigate payer policies and patient access programs to support access.
- Attend medical congresses and society meetings as needed.
