Genworth is seeking a Long Term Care Actuary, Controllership Oversight, to govern LTC models and processes from Richmond, VA, with remote options across EST/CST regions. You will become the expert on LTC data, model design, and controls to ensure compliance with company, industry, and actuarial standards.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, support peer reviews, and help expand governance to new teams and products. Requires FSA/ASA and 5+ years of LTC actuarial experience.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree in mathematics, statistics, actuarial science, business/finance or related major.
• FSA or ASA designation with commensurate experience.
• 5+ years of relevant actuarial experience, preferably LTC.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to meet project deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to interact professionally and effectively in a team environment.
• Knowledge of actuarial processes: valuation, projections, and experience.
• Results oriented, accountable for performance and ownership of projects.

Responsabilités

• Oversee the LTC control environment across teams with clear communication and consistent design of controls.
• Consult on controls for new or enhanced processes.
• Review existing controls for key high-risk processes and suggest improvements.
• Collaborate with Operations and IT on administration system and data issues and controls.
• Develop clear model and process documentation to increase transparency and accessibility.
• Provide governance peer review support for LTC actuarial models and processes.
• Expand governance oversight to include emerging teams and products.
• Assist with model change peer reviews and guidance on governance processes.
