Job summary

Genworth is seeking a Long Term Care Actuary to join the Controllership Oversight team. The role focuses on governance of LTC models, data, and controls, ensuring compliance with professional standards. You’ll support valuation, projections, and experience analyses, with an emphasis on model reviews and cross-team collaboration.

Ideal candidates hold an actuarial degree and FSA/ASA with 5+ years of LTC actuarial experience, and can work remotely within US Eastern/Central time zones.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in mathematics, statistics, actuarial science, business/finance, or related major.
• Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) or ASA with commensurate experience.
• 5+ years of relevant actuarial experience, preferably LTC insurance.

Responsibilities

• Governance and controllership of LTC models and processes; ensure compliance with standards.
• Review existing controls for high-risk processes and recommend improvements.
• Collaborate with Operations and IT on administration system and data issues and controls.
