Genworth is seeking a Long Term Care Actuary, Controllership Oversight, to join the Model Governance and Controllership team in a role based in Richmond, VA with remote options for eligible US states. You will govern LTC models, data, and controls, advising on design, documentation, and compliance with professional standards, while collaborating across cross-functional teams.

• BS/BA degree in mathematics, statistics, actuarial science, business/finance, or related major.
• Fellow of Society of Actuaries (FSA) or ASA with commensurate experience.
• 5+ years of relevant actuarial experience, preferably LTC.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to meet project deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Ability to interact professionally and effectively in a team environment.
• Knowledge of actuarial processes: valuation, projections, and experience.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee the LTC control environment and ensure consistent design and execution across teams.
• Consult on controls for new or enhanced processes.
• Review existing controls for high-risk processes and propose improvements.
• Collaborate with Operations and IT on administration systems and data issues and controls.
• Support documentation of model governance to increase transparency and accessibility.
• Provide governance peer review support for LTC actuarial models and processes.
• Expand governance to include emerging teams and products.
• Assist with model change peer reviews and guidance on governance processes.
