Genworth is seeking a Long Term Care Actuary to join the Controllership Oversight team in a role focused on governance of LTC models and processes. You will become an expert on LTC model data and controls, guiding design to meet company and actuarial standards, while collaborating across cross-functional teams.

The position emphasizes oversight of valuation, projections, and experience, with potential expansion to broader governance.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree in mathematics, statistics, actuarial science, business/finance, and/or related major.
• Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) designation or ASA with commensurate experience.
• 5+ years of relevant actuarial experience, preferably with LTC insurance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to meet project deadlines and manage multiple priorities.

Responsabilités

• Oversee the LTC control environment and ensure consistent control design and execution across teams.
• Consult on controls for new or enhanced processes.
• Review existing controls for high-risk processes and suggest improvements.
• Collaborate with Operations and IT on administration system and data issues and controls.
• Develop clear model and process documentation to increase transparency and accessibility.
• Provide governance peer review support for development and enhancement of LTC actuarial models and processes.
• Expand governance and controllership oversight to include emerging teams and products.
• Assist with model change peer reviews and provide guidance on governance processes.
