Genworth is seeking a Long Term Care Actuary to join the Controllership Oversight team in a role centered on governance of LTC models and processes. The position offers remote US options (Eastern/Central Time) with in-office opportunities in Richmond, VA, and requires strong actuarial credentials and 5+ years of LTC experience.

You will collaborate across control owners and cross-functional teams, ensuring robust controls, documentation, and transparency while expanding oversight to new teams

Competenze

• BS/BA degree in mathematics, statistics, actuarial science, business/finance, or related field.
• Fellow (FSA) or Associate (ASA) with commensurate experience.
• 5+ years of relevant actuarial experience, preferably LTC.
• Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of valuation, projections, and experience in actuarial processes.

Mansioni

• Oversee LTC model governance and control environment across teams.
• Consult on controls for new or enhanced processes.
• Review existing controls for high-risk processes and recommend improvements.
• Collaborate with Operations and IT on data issues and controls.
• Develop clear model and process documentation for transparency.
• Provide governance peer review support for LTC models and processes.
• Expand governance oversight to emerging teams and products.
• Assist with model change peer reviews and governance guidance.
